Prepare for winter

Prepare for the darker, colder nights!
                   
Your skin and body needs to prepare for the winter months as they can have an effect on you.

The levels of moisture reduces in your body and therefore you need to balance this with diet and skincare.
                                                               
  •  Dietary  requirements include warm foods that are mildly spicy, sweet, sour and salty to help increase moisture and balance.
                   
  • Avoid cold drinks, fermented foods and yeast as these can cause wind and destabilise the digestive system.
                     
  • Try to have a warm massage and practice yoga in a warm room  this will increase circulation in the colder months.
             
  • Don’t forget to moisturise your skin! The harsh weather can lead to dry lips and cracked skin. Keep moisturised with Douall’s Argan oil and Multi-Balm.
                       
  • Go to bed early as possible with a warm drink before bed preferably adding spices to your drink such as tumeric latte, nutmeg and ginger latte.
